In the eastern part of India, in the state of West Bengal, is situated one of the branch monasteries of Mindrolling in the small town of Lava, near Kalimpong. Over the past few years, the Samten Tse Charitable Society (STCS) has donated funds to the Lava monastery for the building of much needed monk’s living quarters. This project not only enabled the progress and growth of this monastery but improved the facilities for the little monks living and studying there.
