Minling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche
October 12th – November 21st, 2022
Registration begins September 5th, 2022
Minling Lotus Garden is delighted to announce our Fall 2022 program schedule. After two years without in-person programs, we are overjoyed that Minling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche will again bestow teachings and transmissions to the sangha at Lotus Garden this Fall. Keeping in mind the long break the entire sangha has had from gathering together for teachings, transmissions and practices, this year’s Vajrayana retreat has been structured to provide a solid basis and support for the sangha to settle together and reconnect with the disciplines of receiving teachings and practicing as a group. We all rejoice in this wonderful opportunity to gather again and receive the nectar-like Dharma from our Guru.
Minling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche has said that it is now imperative for the sangha to receive the Vajrayana teachings and, in particular, the Vajrakilaya and protector teachings, oral transmissions, and empowerments. We rejoice that the sangha will be able to gather and receive teachings and transmissions directly from our Guru again after such a long time. After a gap of over two years, it is highly recommended that eligible students commit to the entire retreat in an uninterrupted manner. However, it is permitted to register for individual sections as outlined in the retreat schedule below.
Information on Covid Protocols and Housing Guidelines
This retreat will be held keeping in mind the health and wellbeing of all who attend. Please follow this link to read about our current COVID-19 policy. We would like to encourage all those attending to consider camping as your housing option. This will ensure you have a private space. We are also encouraging as many sangha members as possible to stay on land to keep a good container for the retreat. Rental tent options and limited on-land housing options will also be available at the time of registration. It is also a good time for those who know it will be more suitable to arrange off land accommodations to begin making your reservations. We highly recommend you take into account all health and well-being protocols while staying off land and apply all disciplines of the retreat to your off-land housing accommodations as well.
